You should have said you had a Mac. I have no idea---this is the PC board. You should ask on the Mac board (even if it is "dead" it makes more sense than asking on the wrong board). For PC I said above that you copy the entire folder that I bolded in my post above. For all I know, macs are completely different in both hardware and OS quirks.

A lot of it comes down to what you like more. Sims 4 does have a better creation tool, at least when creating sims and manipulating the building tools when creating a home (or any other kind of lot you decide to make), however it comes with it's own set of limitations.
Yes you can so long as the game is installed on your hard drive you can run the game without a disc if you download and install a no cd crack for the game. alot of versions of no cd cracks and alot have virus's so make sure to do a virus check before installing and opening the zip folders. but yes you can run games on pc without the discs with no cd cracks installed for the game. cheers =)
